Mobile Heights is a non-profit ICT cluster organisation and networking community promoting innovation and growth in the digital world by connecting business, academia, and society.
Our focus is the Future Digital World in the areas of
- Digital Health,
- Digital Society and
- Digital Manufacturing & Materials.
Mobile Heights was founded in 2009 by Sony, Ericsson, Telia Company, the Regional Council of Skåne, Lund University and Malmö University.
Today we have more than 100 members in Southern Sweden.
Mobile Heights has its headquarters in Lund, Sweden.
Mobile Heights is a Gold Label Cluster.

Mobile Heights is engaged in several multi-disciplinary projects. These projects create possibilities for our members to co-operate in creating innovative and competitive solutions to the grand challenges of our future society. Digitalisation
DigIT Hub: DigIT Hub is an EU-funded project aimed at helping SMEs and the public sector in Southern Sweden reach digitalisation goals. The project focuses specifically on aiding the transformation towards “Smart Sustainable Cities” and “Smart Industry: Manufacturing & Advanced Materials” through the provision of digital tools and services, skills and training, and a vast support network in industry, academia, and the public sector. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
AI Sweden: AI Sweden is a national and neutral initiative, functioning as an engine in the Swedish AI ecosystem. The focus is on accelerating the implementation of AI through sharing knowledge and data, co-location of competences, and collaboration projects, all with a strong emphasis on ethics, transparency, and security. Internet of Things (IoT)
City as a Platform: City as a Platform (CaaP) is a strategic project that gathers 18 municipalities in Sweden to explore, test, implement and collaborate on open IoT platforms to support community benefits in the cities. The project will also secure national anchorage and propose a national management model of a minimum framework for data platforms, including relevant standards and data models. Learn more here.

Connected Ship: The Connected Ship project is aimed at creating collaboration and combining existing technologies and knowledge from the Nordic ICT and cleantech industries with the needs of the shipping industry. The outcome will support increased energy efficiency and a speedier transition towards a more sustainable development in the maritime sector. Learn more here.

Skills & Training
CoSkill: CoSkill is a skills development initiative that aims to strengthen the position of individuals in the Swedish labour market and to support the private sector face the current economic situation caused by the Covid-19 crisis. Through the identification and development of adequate skills required to adapt to the rapid digital transformation, CoSkill aims to increase competitiveness by allowing SMEs to provide free skills development programs to their employees.
