Culture, Tourism and Automotive – MetaHeritage Stakeholder Meeting on 17 April 2026

We are happy to invite clusters and stakeholders working in culture, heritage and tourism to join MetaHeritage’s upcoming Stakeholder Meeting and Matchmaking Event on 17 April 2026 (09:30–12:30) in Imola, Italy and online.

Organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Imola, the Racetrack, Clust-ER Tourism and Clust-ER Innovate, the event will focus on fostering innovation for enterprises connected to major events and the automotive ecosystem. MetaHeritage itself is an I3 (Interregional Innovation Investments) capacity building project designed to test innovative business models and explore ‘out-of-the-box’ approaches such as Heritage Routes and the Metaverse to mobilize cultural as well as corporate heritage and digital technologies for innovation and economic growth across European regions. Heritage innovation involves applying creative and forward-thinking strategies to businesses with their own corporate heritage or those deeply rooted in cultural heritage.

🔍 What will we do?

  • Present the MetaHeritage project and its vision
  • Explore innovative business models linked to cultural heritage and tourism
  • Discuss how to strengthen local tourism ecosystems year-round
  • Discuss how to leverage major event-driven economies
  • Encourage new partnerships and investment opportunities

The event will bring together actors from across the quadruple helix, including businesses, clusters, public authorities, research organisations, and cultural institutions.

🤝 Why join? Participants will benefit from:

  • Targeted networking and matchmaking opportunities
  • Exchange of best practices and innovation strategies
  • New ideas to enhance tourism demand and regional attractiveness year-round
