Building on this shared legacy, the European Clusters Alliance is launching the ECA Regional Cooperation Series — a common identity for regional events promoting cluster excellence, industrial competitiveness, knowledge exchange and cross-border cooperation throughout Europe.

The programme begins in Galați on 20 October with the Clusters4Health seminar dedicated to health innovation.
On 21 October, the ECA Interregional Cluster Conference – Clusters as Competitiveness Integrators, also marking the 15th Romanian National Cluster Conference, will explore competitiveness, innovation, value-chain resilience, industrial decarbonisation, logistics, SME integration and interregional cooperation.
The conference will continue on 22 October in Chișinău, within the 3rd Moldovan National Cluster Forum, focusing on cluster excellence, European integration and the further development of Moldova’s cluster ecosystem.
The Galați programme is organised within Galați Business Week 2026, which also includes the Romanian Business Leaders – Lower Danube Conference and the Logistics Summit Galați. Taking place on 22–23 October, the Summit will highlight Galați’s strategic role as a multimodal logistics and investment hub connecting the Lower Danube and Black Sea regions with European transport networks and value chains.
Dedicated B2B, C2C and C2B matchmaking sessions, organised with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network, will complement the policy dialogue and help participants turn new contacts and shared priorities into concrete partnerships, projects and business opportunities.
The programme is jointly organised by the European Clusters Alliance (ECA), the Romanian Cluster Association (CLUSTERO), the Romanian South-East Regional Development Agency, the Municipality of Galați, the Open Hub Creative Cluster, UNDP Moldova and the Ukrainian Clusters Alliance (UCA), together with the event partners in Galați and Chișinău.
To facilitate participation, organised transport will be provided from Bucharest Airport (Otopeni) to Galați on 20 October and from Galați to Chișinău on 22 October. Please indicate your transport options by answering the dedicated questions in the registration form.
